This incredible BIG bear has been made from an exquisitely unique piece of hand-dyed curly kid mohair in a mix of plums, amethysts, golds, cinnamons and rich ginger tones. All the pigments randomly blend and swirl together to give an almost iridescent effect to this special fur (photos show her in both outdoor direct and indirect lighting, as well as indoor lighting).

Her design is our newest handiwork - a brand new shape and size for us here at Emma's Bears, inspired by a more traditionally proportioned old-school teddy, but with modern finishings. 

Aubrey looks out through a pair of our classic black glass eyes. Her generously sized nose is hand embroidered in a contrasting light golden DMC perle cotton, and she features some matching inktense shading to help accentuate her soft features. 

This generously sized teddy is fully T-pin jointed and quite well stuffed with polyfill and steel shot, giving her quite a heft to her weight (she is a two-handed pickup for sure!). She has faux suede paw pads, with our 3D pulled foot and hand detailing with Inktense shading. She wears a rather elegant iridescent butterfly pendant and a fully removable ribbon in her hair. 

Aubrey is a one of a kind artist bear, and is a teddy-size that we don't have available for general adoption very frequently. (Bears this size are almost exclusively made as custom orders).
