This unusual creation was a recent custom order that just wasn't quite what the commissioning collector was hoping for, so she is now available for general adoption. Aurora Papillon is one of our fantasy style snow-leopard teddies, with long fluffy tails, fluffy ears, a very fluffy belly and hand-drawn snow leopard markings.
She has been made in a mix of custom dyed long alpaca in indigo blues, teal, turquoise, plums, magenta-berry and lavender tones. This has been paired with some of our newest faux fur in a stunning aqua colouring with hints of white on her ears and tip of her tail. The colours are exquisite, and show up quite differently depending on where she is positioned. Because of this we have included photos that show her in both outdoor direct and indirect lighting, as well as indoor lighting.
Aurora looks out through a pair of custom painted glass eyes - one in a magenta-berry-plum shimmery mix, and the other is a deep sparkling teal-aqua. We have given her hand sculpted eyes lids and long luxurious lashes. Her generously sized nose is hand embroidered in a matching deep magenta DMC perle cotton, and she features some inktense shading to help accentuate her soft features.
This unique teddy is fully T-pin jointed and quite well stuffed with polyfill and steel shot, giving her quite a heft to her weight (even her tail is weighted). She has light blue faux cashmere paw pads, with our 3D pulled foot detailing with a little more Inktense shading. She wears a rather elegant iridescent butterfly pendant that absolutely glows when the sun hit it.
Aurora Papillon is a one of a kind artist bear.
