Mackenzie Cherish
By Emma and Mark Nicholson
17" (45cm)
Name: Mackenzie Cherish
Born: 1/09/16
Time: 7:59am
Weight: 4lb 1oz
This beautiful little girl has been inspired by those gorgeous 'reborn' realistic baby dolls. Mackenzie is 'real newborn' size, measuring in at 47cm long and just over 4lbs in weight. The weighting has been evenly distributed throughout her body with a mix of glass and steel shot in her head, tummy, arms and legs. She's fully jointed with a secure T-pin jointed neck that we've given a little extra movement to then normal. Combined with her heavy head, this gives Mackenzie a very realistic feel when you pick her up as you will feel the need to support her head when you hold her. It also allows for her to tuck into some gorgeous cuddly baby positions.
Mackenzie has the most gorgeous expectant little face on her. She has been made from a luxury German kid mohair (Shulte) in a soft buttery cream colour with thick curls. She looks out through big dark deluxe glass eyes with faux suede whites and has a hand embroidered pale-gold perle cotton nose.
Mackenzie wears a brand new, fully removable Pumpkin Patch branded butterfly-sleeve flower print onesie. Her over-sized flower handband matches the colours in the print beautifully and is also fully removable. She wears a Thankyou brand newborn sized disposable nappy (if you have a moment, it's definitely worth checking out all that the Thankyou company are doing - they're incredibly inspiring) . She also comes with her brand new beige teddy cuddle toy.
Baby Mackenzie is a very detailed cuddly and heavy one of a kind artist bear.
~*~ Please Note that these bears are designed to be Adult Collectables and not intended for infants and young children due to small parts (eyes) and potential for damage (excessive limb twisting/ busted seams etc) – however child safe versions can be custom made and I would think that the bears would be fine with sensible, gentle children (yes – I am sure they exist!) Convo me if you have any concerns. ~*~
